The brand new NHS ROTHERHAM WEBSITE was officially launched this week: www.rotherham.nhs.uk. As part of the launch we will be asking the people of Rotherham to join together to walk to the moon! We will be giving away free pedometers to staff and local people asking them to log in to the website each week and input their number of steps. These steps will count towards the collective Rotherham goal of walking 467 million steps that would be needed if walking to the moon – visit www.rotherham.nhs.uk/onesmallstep for details. The new website features information on different health issues and contains all the latest health news, videos and events happening across Rotherham. People can search for local health services (by nearest postcode) and can access maps and directions to these services. Users will also be able to sign up for email alerts. There will also be a section set up for patients to reorder repeat prescriptions.
