What are they?

Carnegie Clubs are 12-week community healthy lifestyles programmes for boys & girls aged 8 – 17 delivered at weekends, in-school and after-school. The Clubs aims are to provide children with the knowledge, skills and supportive environment they need to lead a healthy lifestyle by choosing healthy diets and being physically active. Carnegie Clubs are currently delivered in conjunction with various Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) and schools throughout the UK. This successful approach allows collaborators to utilise expertise, experience and the established infrastructures in a mutually beneficial way.

Where are they?

At present Carnegie Clubs are currently being delivered in Leeds, Walsall, Newark and the Isle of Man. The clubs that are currently being delivered in Walsall and Newark are in collaboration with Walsall PCT and Newark & Sherwood PCT.
We are developing new clubs throughout the UK so if you would like a Club in your area please submit your details and we will keep you posted.
